Who is Animal Aid?Animal Aid is non-profit, no-kill, animal rescue and outreach organization
serving Our mission is to reduce animal birth rates and suffering through education, assistance
to community members who cannot afford urgent veterinary care,
and finding
permanent homes for animals We house cats in our free-roam shelter and dogs (and a few cats) in loving foster homes. Animal Aid helps in areas not covered by other tri-county agencies. We are supported primarily through donations which because we are a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization are tax deductible and greatly appreciated. |

CINCINNATI, July 30, 2010 - The Procter & Gamble Company (P&G) is voluntarily expanding its recall to include veterinary and some specialized dry pet food as a precautionary measure because it has the potential to be contaminated with salmonella. No salmonella-related illnesses have been reported. Affected brands: Eukanuba and Iams. CLICK HERE for the full list of recalled products. Consumers who have purchased the specific dry pet foods listed should discard them. People handling dry pet food can become infected with Salmonella, especially if they have not thoroughly washed their hands after having contact with surfaces exposed to this product. |
